Flowers + More Flowers

BYLA was tasked with the creation of a perennial garden that would showcase native and non-native plants that add value and ecology to garden areas in the high desert west. The Sawtooth Botanical garden displays a mix of both sun areas and shade and also incorporates juniper and other shrub material to allow the perennial garden to blend into adjacent sagebrush steppe demonstration areas.

This work was done pro bono to help support this Idaho institution and was a great opportunity to showcase what is possible in this climate - there are so many options of perennials and plants that can be used despite the challenges of the harsh climate.
